UST Glass ships via FexEx Ground for small packages and uses multiple carriers for freight shipment. Please be advised that residential fees do apply for freight shipment that do not deliver to business addresses. You must be upfront while placing your order if your order qualifies for freight shipment (ie: you run your business from your home, which is in a residential area). Any shipment that is classified as business but is determined to be residential the customer will be responsible for the extra shipping charges. If you let us know up front, we can choose your freight carrier carefully to incur the least amount of residential delivery fees.
Damage to Products
Customer must notify UST immediately of any damaged items during shipping. The delivering company must be notified of the damages upon delivery. For freight shipments the delivery driver must sign for the goods as being delivered in damaged condition. The customer must retain the entire contents of the damaged shipment, including the box, all packaging materials and the merchandise for inspection for 14 days. UST will file a claim with the carrier on behalf of the customer and issue a credit for future use.
